Factual basis:
Perić was found guilty of participating in a common plan with the purpose to permanently and forcibly transfer the entire Bosniak civilian population from the UN Safe Area of Srebrenica and to capture, detain, forcibly transfer, summarily execute and bury the able-bodied Bosniak men and boys from the Srebrenica enclave. He was also convicted for carrying out a widespread and systematic attack against members of Bosniak people in furtherance of a state and organizational policy; whereby the entire Bosniak civilian population of up to 40,000 people were removed from Srebrenica enclave, and over 7,000 Bosniak men and boys were summarily executed, buried and reburied, especially in Pilica and in Branjevo farm. In particular, Perić organized the placement of civilians in the Pilica school and cultural house, he ordered the deployment of soldiers around these facilities, and organized the transport of civilians to Branjevo farm for their execution.
